A court in Budapest, Hungary, issued a 40-day detention order for extradition, against a Serbian citizen.
His extradition has been requested by Kosovo authorities, on suspicion of involvement in war crimes against civilians in Kosovo in 1999, the tribunal's statement said.
He allegedly in June of that year, in the village of Videya in Cline was shot by automatic rifles, a woman who was in her eighth month of pregnancy, and then raped her.
“The suspect did not agree to a simplified extradition procedure, that is why the Court will decide on the extradition request after receiving the entire extradition request. Until the documents are reached, the suspects have been given a four-day ban order”, the Budapest court said.
