The United States of America has again asked the Kosovo government to remove the 100 per cent tax on goods coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the communique made by the US Embassy, in Pristina it is said that it is time for Kosovo and neighbours to remove obstacles to free flow of goods.
In times like this, regional and international co-operation is key. It is time for Kosovo and neighbours to avoid obstacles to free flow of goods. Again, we invite the Government of Kosovo to take the first bold step and to remove the tariffs, which now”, is said in the communique.
Otherwise, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had declared that the 100 per cent tax would be left in part on March 15th, but this did not happen, as he failed to convince the Democratic League of Kosovo, of partial tax evasion and its replacement by reciprocity. /Periscope.
