The Play Off match in the League of Nations between Northern Macedonia and Kosovo will be played without audience presence.
This decision was made by the Macedonian Football Federation, following confirmation that some persons are infected with Coronavirus in this state.
For similar reasons, this very important meeting for both nationals may even be postponed for another date.
Regarding the FFM's decision on Gazeta inFokus, Kosovo National Captain Samir Wolfani has spoken.
He said he supports such a decision, takes into account the very heavy situation in Italy, where he even plays, and in other European countries.
The situation in Italy is very heavy, we're locked in the house and we're in a very difficult time. We hope that soon we will pass this terrible situation”, Wolfan said first.
According to Wolfan, more important is people's health than the match against northern Macedonia.
Hence, he has also welcomed the decision of the fight without a viewer. The Kosovo gate guard also hopes that the match will be postponed for another date, until this created situation passes and after the meeting will be held with fans.
I think a good decision has been made to keep the game going without viewers, as it is far more important to the health of all citizens. But, personally, I think that the match should be postponed and held in another time and with fans, because “Dardians” for us are very important and their presence gives us motivation as when we play at “Fadil Vokri” and at stadiums outside Kosovo”, he said.
The captain of the Dardanians indicated that even at the Turin club, where he is engaged, he is doing only light and separate exercises because of the presence of the coronavirus.
“We're going to training sessions, we're only doing light exercise, as the situation created enables us to develop proper preparations. We are divided into four groups, because we are not allowed to train all together, because of the fear of coronavirus”, the 31-year-old showed.
The match between northern Macedonia and Kosovo is meant to take place on March 26th at the “Toše Proeski Arena” stadium in Skopje.
