Iberian media report that 84-year-olds had had a heart attack and COVID-19 had accelerated their deaths.
The news upset his club, Espanyoli, and all Spanish football.
He played goalkeeper in the '60s-70s with Espanjoli and Deportivo La Korunja.
And he led many Spanish teams like: Deportivo La Koruna, Real Majorca, Salamanca, Hercules, etc.
He eventually withdrew from football in 1992.
