Shefki Zeqiri, accused of misusing the official position in the Ministry of Agriculture, is the official who has escaped the sweep of the new minister's suspensions, Besian Mustafa, sources of the Insander Journal have said.
The Zeqiri is close to the party from which Minister Mustafa comes from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).
At the opening of the campaign of extraordinary elections in the Podujevo municipality, Zeqiri has been present in support of the mayoral candidate, Nexmi Rudari, along with the minister, Besian Mustafa.
The newspaper Insider has sent questions to Minister Mustafa and the ministry secretary, lest Shefki Zeqiri's suspension as other officials charged with work, misuse of office.
Upon receiving the minister's mandate, Mustafa had suspended two of the main men of this dictatorship. Secretary General Kaplan Halimin and head of the Agency for Agriculture Development Ekrem Gjokhan.
