Coronavirus continues to spread extensively outside China, with Europe now considered the new epidemic epithet. Most of the most affected countries have taken drastic restrictive measures.
Coronavirus infected people are reported to have reached over 170 thousand in 141 countries in the world.
Recent reports show that in the initial epidemic episode in China, 67700 cases have been healed and released from the hospital, while in countries outside it, the number of infected has increased to about 90 thousand.
Europe reported on Sunday the highest death toll in one day from the deadly virus.
Of the most affected countries, Italy marked 368 new victims, bringing the tragic balance over 1,800, Spain a total of nearly 300 deaths, and France 120 victims since the first case last month.
A number of countries have imposed a ban on citizens and closed land borders not to encourage further spread of the virus.
For Germany, these regulations took effect Monday with France, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark and Luxembourg.
Schools, bars and restaurants have been closed in many states, while citizens are ordered to limit movements for work purposes, emergency meetings and the purchase of basic products.
The French minister of education informed that the coronary epidemic would likely affect up to 70 percent of the population, as is Germany's forecast, and the government's objective is to postpone the spread as much as possible in time to find the vaccine.
Of the countries in the region, Greece continues to remain the most endangered with more than 300 infected and 4 dead -- Serbia and Croatia around 50, northern Macedonia less than 20 -- and Kosovo at least 13 infected.
Preventive measures have also been taken in America.
School closures have been established in 29 countries, while two of the country's most frequent cities -- New York and Los Angeles -- have extended the measure to bars and restaurants.
So far America has confirmed approximately 40,000 cases of coronarys, but this week it is expected to start mass population testing what can increase the balance.
