Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj said the requirement is seen as a preventative measure from spreading this virus.
“Nism is ready to support the president's draft decree of emergency situations. We view this arrangement as a preventative measure. The initiative on behalf of that will be ready to support the Kosovo government, local institutions, in the function of overcoming this” situation, he said.
Limaj has appealed to the government to start seeking assistance from friendly states, until it has expressed itself willing that as a party to provide assistance to the elderly, who, according to him, are not receiving adequate treatment.
He has also commented on the dismissal of Interior Minister Agim Veliu, from Prime Minister Kurti.
My “Appel is for everyone, it's not the time to make politics. Today is no time for political confrontation. We do not participate in the battles of the prime minister and president's confrontation. We now hear about the minister, he has supported the position of his party chairman. It's time we all mobilize” together, he said.
Asked about the initiative's position after the created situation, Limaj said the focus should be on managing the situation with the COVID-19 virus.
