The Government's Wrong Actions Regarding Coronavirus

On March 13th, the first two confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, Covid-19, were recorded in our country. Kosovo's government reacted immediately, initially taking some rhetorical measures that prevented local overnight gatherings after 11:00, and similar ones.

But, shortly after, the government had received other recommendations from the IKSF and had decided to close all the country's non-secial businesses, including cafes, nightclubs, restaurants and others.

Since then, over 90 cases of coronarys have been confirmed in Kosovo, and the curve continues to be flat and uneasiness, writes Periscopi.

However, some of the government's actions in response to the spread of the new Coronervirus, Covid-19, were irresponsible and inconsistent. Here we are mentioning some of them:

Constantly Changing Measures

I don't understand the everyday change in public measures. This shows lack of support... otherwise it's not available! ” ) wrote physician Wisar Berisha, who had even worked as adviser to the Kurti Government.

Continued change of measures has also led to their failure to comply. Large numbers of people had appeared in national parks and parks in the city, and a large influx of people was also found in waiting lines in front of the mills for flour.

Do not co-operate with affected municipalities

Few Tests

The number of cases confirmed by coronarys is small, but the number of tests given to citizens is too small, too.

Despite the few tests, this had not stopped Prime Minister Kurti from testing with all members of his staff even though they had not had any symptoms or reported any contact.

However, many residents had not long been tested by the affected villages or even the emergency medical staff in the year that had contacted a 77 - year - old person.

Terrifying clock of 6-10, 16-20

Under the change and toughness of the measures, the government had made a decision to halt the circulation of the movement as well. This ruling is under consideration by the Constitutional Court with many political acts instead of considering it anti-unconstitutional.

If we did not understand domestic political games, we could also criticise the government for dismissing Interior Minister Mr. Agim Veliu. He was dismissed for a statement he gave just about the Coronaviros, warning that the number of cases would increase from hour to hour, day after day. Kurti initially claimed that Veliu had spread panic among citizens. Then, when he realized that the leaders of the more developed nations had done the same thing, and that the number of the affected was growing steadily from hour to hour, he decided to build an unconventional conspiracy that Veliu had been synchronized with President Thaci in order to declare the state of emergency.

But another dismissal made headlines in public opinion. That was Mr. Naser Ramadani from the Kosovo Hospital Service and University Clinic board in this sensitive period for the country.
