Government proposes around 73m euros in aid to private sector

At a media conference, he said measures taken for protection by Coronavirus have hampered production and has decreased economic activity in three categories -- to citizens, the business community and the state budget.
According to him, capacity is very limited and debt is high due to no pay. The government's measures in economic activity have also reflected with an automatism of both customs and tax revenues from 7.5 to 12.5%. According to him, there may be 200m euros less in revenues.
Among the 13 points presented, Bislimi has said the government will compensate companies for wages, which it has proposed to be at the minimum wage rate of 170 euros.
“Covering wage spending for those affected to the minimum wage rate of 170 euros for the next two months, the maximum of the vehicles deployed to this measure is 41m euros. We will use this instrument to help those companies that are faced with difficulty, but we also expect companies to cover the salary share for which workers have contributed in the first two weeks. Because as you know the measures have started to be implemented on March 15th... Subvention of the rent to the maximum measure of up to 50% for small and medium-sized enterprises for the next two months, with a total of 12m euros. 3) For workers influenced by the point 1 they receive at «the additional government salary of 170, the government also takes over covering the pension contributions for the next two months, at a maximum of 8m euros... He also stressed that doctors, policemen, and firemen are rewarded with 300 euros per two months.
The government of the Republic of Kosovo on the basis of this proposal for these categories of public servants would share an additional reward in the fixed amount of 300 euros each in the next two months. In total, 15m euros would be allocated for the measure. No matter the pay rate, each benefits 300 euros for the next two months. On the other hand, today Kosovo's economic interests had demanded 300m euros for the emergency fund.
