The northern Kosovo municipality has ignored Kosovo's state measures.
But Northern Mitrovica, Zvecani, Leposaviqi and Zubin Potoku again surrendered to the order of Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
Serbia declared a state of emergency in the country due to the spread of the new coronary (COVID-19).
This means that older people are not allowed to leave their homes, while in the coming days, competent organs will control whether citizens adhere to government measures. Vuciq urged young people not to visit the elderly nor to send their children to visit their grandparents.
And in northern municipalities in Kosovo, they have decided to implement this order, where so-called Crisis Chiefs have ordered that no one move, respectively, leave their homes from 8:00 to 05 a.m.
“After Serbia has decided on a state of emergency, while today even the police clock, the Northern Mitrovica Acting Organization, the crisis staff for the state of emergency situation, has made the decision with which the movement between 8:00 and 5:00 a.m. time is prohibited, while for pensioners and persons older than 65 is worth the complete home ban. Food and medicine will bring volunteers and relatives, who can call on the appropriate phones from 8:00 to 6:00. The ban on moving between 8:00 and 5: 00 a.m. is also valid for all taxis and private carriers, until all retail food items are adjusted from 6:00 to 7:30. Citizens are recommended to abide by doctors' advice, to wear masks and gloves through stores and drugs, and during meetings with people to keep a distance of 2m”, the northern municipality of Mitrovica reported.
