In February, Adebyor ended his adventure in Turkey and signed the 10th career club Olympia in Paraguay.
The 36-year-old has yet to score or assist in four matches for the club and Copa Libertadores.
But he grabbed the headlines last night after a criminal intervention.
The attacker threw himself over Defensa y Justicias' protector in an attempt to win the ball, but ended up hitting the opponent in the jaw.
