Former Karliff City midfielder Peter Whittingham has died today at the age of 35, announces the club from Premierliga.
Whittingham couldn't survive severe head injuries and died in the hospital on Thursday.
He was being treated in the hospital after a serious head injury after he fell on March 7th.
In a media communiqué, Cardiff City reported: “With great regret and sorrow we announce that Peter Whittingham died today at the age of 35. We've broken our heart”
He was part of Cardiff since 2007 and is valued as one of the best players in club history.
Whittingham had made 450 presentations for the club, marking 98 goals before completing his career in Blackburn in 2018.
