The emotional confession of Croatian legend Cira Blajevic: Pristina had the most interesting time

Renowned Croatian coach Miroslav “Ciro” Blazevic has said the past period in Kosovo was the most interesting in his long career.

Blazevic, 85, has led Pristina in the mid-eightth year, at the edition when the mission was the remnant of the former Yugoslavia's football elite. The mission was successfully completed, while Blazevic made many friends in Kosovo. He is still remembered as one of the largest trainers to have led Pristina at its golden time.

Blazevic has given a long interview for the Serbian language site <x0kosovo-online. com”, where he talked about the period at Pristina.

He has said that with all the long time spent since he worked in Kosovo, Kosovars are in his heart.

The “really was an adventure, because my career has been very long. But when I'm asked what period was best for me, I say the most interesting was in Kosovo. The beginning itself was strange, since me and Grashoppers had won the title”, Blazevic said at the beginning of the interview.

Croatian legend has said that in 1986 it had nothing to do with Pristina. He has indicated they have met two people who told him they have pledged to bring him to Pristina.

Blazevic has said all Pristina players were simple. He stressed that even legend Fadil Vorkry has not allowed him to isolate himself. According to him, it's a coach's mistake when a player favors himself. He has confirmed that the fans carried him by the stadium to Grand Hotel.

I was blown to the Grand Hotel until I got to the second floor. Teresa Kesov, who I invited to start the ball from the middle, was in the window on the second floor while fans threw me away. When she saw how I was flying, she was shocked. It's one of the moments I've experienced in Kosovo. In every country there I felt so much love. And we trainers depend on the results.
