The International Olympic Committee's Task Force (BTF), established for organising the European qualifying tournament for the 2020 Olympic Games, has decided today to suspend all activity, which is being held in London of Great Britain.
In the announcement released by the IOC, it is said that competitions that began on March 14, 2020 will continue only tonight.
“Maintaining the well-being of athletes, officials and all other participants is a top priority for BTF, so BTF made the decision to suspend the event today, due to increased global travel restrictions and quarantine measures, so that it allows participants from over 60 countries to regulate their travel and return to home”, the report said.
