The survey, organised by the Washington Post and ABC News, envisions that former Vice President Biden is in the lead only two percent over Donald Trump. The survey's score was 49 percent for Mr. Beden and 47 percent for Mr. Trump.
The same survey in February had placed Beden at a 7 - percent advantage, writes The Guardian, records Periscope.
Amid the coronary crisis, respondents preferred Trump as far as the economy is concerned and Biden is in the health system.
In her survey report, the Washington Post said that “it merely tested the national sense, which can be translated into popular vote, rather than in the state-to-state race to win a majority in electoral college”.
In 2016, Trump gained convincing victory over Hillary Clinton in electoral college, despite losing his popular vote by nearly 3 million votes.
In most countries where the winner is unknown, this year's race is expected to be too tight.
Many critics of former Vice President Beiden have attacked the latter for his poor response to the coronary epidemic. /Periscope
