Symbolically student action: “The Day/Prime Minister arrived before the flag lara-lara” and “Beso/headparliamentary violated the Constitution”

Some Pristina University students today have held a symbolic action at the entrance of the Government of Kosovo and at the entrance of the Kosovo Assembly, with two messages for carriers of these two institutions.

After setting up folder “Day: Prime Minister prepared before the Lara-lara flag”, student Dillza Gashi has said that current Prime Minister Albin Kurti for decades denied the institutions and symbols of the Republic of Kosovo.

“despise them. He profaned them with sewage, and burned them with Motototoves. But he stood by the flag of the Republic of Kosovo yesterday, which he once called the flag lara-lara or the flag of Hib Petroli. The combination of state symbols he had turned into a political heritage”, she said.

Also, with his political behaviour, tear gas in the country, with the use of street violence, tent-building and strike in the square, according to this student, Albin Kurti has always fuelled the illusion that Kosovo does not become, that Kosovo is a failed state, seeking a Third Republic.

As students, Gashi has said he enjoys violating Kurt's principles and changing it.

And after setting the banner “beso: The chief parliament violated the Constitution”, she said the State Protocol Law imposed all institutions to put the photograph of the president of the Republic, but Chief Parliamentary Vjosa Osmani, on his first day of work violated the Constitution, removing official photograph of the president of the Republic from her office.

“The Speaker of the Parliament yesterday said she knew the legislation well, and there were no constitutional violations, but had said the same in the case of former President Fatmir Sejdiu, who had resigned just because Vjosa Osmani as his legal adviser had wrongly consulted”, Gashi said.

At Article 4, point 3 of the Government of Kosovo Rule No. 19/2011, according to the student, it is very clear that the president's photo in the office should be placed on the wall, in the visible place or frontal.

“As the second in the state hierarchy, Vjosa Osmani immediately indicated that he does not respect the hierarchy, nor the representation nor the official and protocol ceremonies of the Republic of Kosovo”, she has said.

But, both the prime minister and the prime minister, and every other title in Kosovo institutions, according to her, should have it clear that positions and they are temporary, while institutions and the Republic of Kosovo are permanent.
