Presidency Prepares Document to Make War Waste Record

This task, the commission has been described in Article 21 of the Rating Project for the Commission for Truth and Compensation, which the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo has put in public consultation this week, writes Koha Ditore today.
The document will be in public consultation until March 13th of this year, and during that time the interested parties may submit comments on eventual changes to it.
This norming act is said to be aimed at establishing, establishing mandate, organising, functioning, tasks and responsibilities of the Commission for the Truth and Compliance. While it is the founding institution, in this case the Presidency, who provides the working and functioning conditions of the Commission.
This draft has been drafted by the Preparation Team for the establishment of the Commission for Truth and Conciliance, appointed by President Thaci on April 27, 2018.
The Commission's additional task, defined in this document, is said to be to investigate political and social circumstances, which have crucially influenced hostility, outbreak of wars or other forms of armed conflict, as well as the committing of war crimes, crimes against humanity and other serious human rights violations, and to investigate the role of key acts in the conflict.
It is also said that the commission is tasked with receiving statements, collecting data on war crimes cases, crimes against humanity and other massive human rights violations, offering detailed descriptions of them, and reflecting rights violations and their consequences.
