“The current opportunity to go towards peace should not be lost”, EU Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell said, on behalf of the bloc's 27 member states, adding that peace talks should begin immediately and should include all factions and political groups of society.
“Conflict needs political solutions in which human rights are respected, including women's rights and ordinary complaints” are addressed, the statement says.
