But Mainz's star, Robin Quaison may have changed the game at the weekend.
While his team had a side recovery during the Bundesliga match against Hertha Berlin, he bent down and claimed to be tying the soles of his shoes together.
The marathon defender left for a moment, thinking that Quaison was no longer a threat before he got up fast, ran into the area and scored from the vicinity.
