The inauguration of September has been made by the president of the International Federation of Judo, Marius Vizer, who was also present at the 2019 Laureates ceremony organised by the Kosovo Olympic Committee on Thursday, where exactly Majlinda Kelmendi was declared the best athlete for the year we left behind.
Majlinda is the only Kosovo athlete with Olympic medals. She won gold in the -52kg judo category at the RIO 2016 Olympics.
