Gasperini won award as coach of year in Serie A, second on Serbian list, Mihajlovic

Gasperini received 22 out of 49 votes from other trainers for the Panchina d'Oro Award (Golden Palace) for the 2018-19th season.

Bologna coach Siniša Mihajlovic finished second with 13 votes, and Juvenus' former coach Massimiliano Allegri was third.

“I am very proud to have won such a prestigious award,” said 62-year-old Gasperini, who won the award for the first time.
