Tyson Fury is the new WBC champion in the heavy boxing category.
Gypsy King has managed to defeat Deontay Wilder by means of technical knockout in the seventh round.
Fury dominated the meeting against Wilder since the beginning of the duel. It was the third round when Fury laid Wilder on the cork for the first time.
The Brit went on to fight well and managed again to score a knockout in the fifth round, to weaken even more the legs of the WBC champion.
The end of this match, however, came to the seventh round, when after Fury's successive blows, the judge interrupted the meeting.
So Tyson Fury is the new WBC champion. Wilder defended this title 10 times before he passed Fury.
Fury already goes to 30 wins, one draw and zero defeat. For Wilder, this is the first defeat.
It was a truly demoralizing night for the former champion.
