Prime Minister Albin Kurti has returned negative answers to the United States' demands to lift the fee on Serbian products. Thus major consequences are expected for Kosovo.
Gazeta Express sources from the United States have shown that at the end of the week, Richard Green, the current chief of all US secret services and mediator between Kosovo and Serbia, will consider the situation regarding the removal of the fee from Albin Kurt's Government.
As Express learns, Kurt has already responded negatively to Americans.
The U.S. plans to take measures, while attracting recognition alone is not one of the options for “punishment”. Exactly what America will undertake is not known, yet the suspension of investments and other activities that help Kosovo for 20 years may be some of the measures.
The same sources have told Gazeta Express that the US is desperate with LDK, which did not forward pledges of agreement and co-ordination with the US on the issue of lifting the fee.
Prime Minister Kurti has asked the removal of the fee to many senior American officials, including US Secretary of State Mike Pompeii. Continuous demands have also been made by President Donald Trump's emissary, Richard Green, for Kosovo dialogue Serbia, which has also been appointed task manager of the chief of 17 US intelligence agencies.
