He became the most expensive goalkeeper in the world when he joined Manchester United in December 1957 for 23,500 pounds, and was voted the best at the World Cup next year.
He made 25 presentations for the North Irish National between 1954 and 1963.
“Harry passed away peacefully in the hospital, surrounded by his beloved family”, said his family's announcement.
