The study also shows the high risk for medical personnel.
The findings set the overall level of death of the Cavid 19 virus to 2.3%.
In Hubei, the most affected province, the death rate is 2.9% compared to only 0.4% in the rest of the country.
The latest official figures of China released on Tuesday place the total number of deaths at 1,868 and 72,436 infected.
