The renowned sports manager, Ilda Bayler, was involved in an unpleasant situation as he hit a 63-year-old car.
The police's official announcement suggests that the journalist's vehicle has been seized and that she will now be investigated in a free state by the prosecution on two counts. “Breaking traffic rules” and “Leave the crash site”.
If those two charges are tried, then, according to the penal code, Ilda risks being fined, or in prison for up to a year.
CONDITIONAL NATION PENAL:
“The removal from the site of the accident, the driver of the vehicle or any motorized vehicle, to avoid criminal, civilian or administrative responsibility, constitutes criminal offence and is fined or sentenced to jail until a year”.
