One concern, officials say, is that the British do not have supplies with medical equipment and components for business management.
British companies have been urged to seek alternative supply sources. Some firms warned that they could endure if the crisis lasted just a month, but that they would have serious logistical problems if the duration of the crisis lasted.
The spread of the coronary is already affecting the tourism industry in Great Britain. China has banned foreign tourists for an indefinite period of time, and bookings are massively cancelled in hotels in Britain.
Also, luxury sales in Britain have dropped significantly due to a lack of Chinese tourists. The Barber fashion market said that its sales dropped 80 percent in China and had to shut down 24 of its 64 stores in China.
Shops were also closed by sports equipment producers Nike, Adidas and Puma.
By contrast, the British economy is not the only one affected by the coronary. Concerns have been raised about the long-term effects on the global economy, and economic analysts estimate that the full economic consequences will be known only after the coronary leaves.
