The Albanian who stabbed the girl in Australia, appeared transformed before court

It's only been 7 months since July 22nd, 2019, when 49-year-old Albanian Petrit Lekaj would stab his daughter Sabrina only 20 years old and then attempt suicide.

This family photo was made just two years before the event took place. They were gathered to celebrate Sabrina's 18th anniversary.

And this picture was made Wednesday, where Petrit Lekay appeared before the Supreme Court of South Australia.

Its transformation is evident to the extent that it is almost impossible to recognize.

The 49-year-old remains in custody and will be sentenced to life in prison. But he will learn next Tuesday when he has a parole right.

Nine News released a video recording yesterday from his cold-blooded confession to the police.

In the police interview published by the judge, Petrit Lekaj describes the stab and drowning of his daughter Sabrina as he also reveals his deep regret.

The confession was recorded at a mental health institution where he was held several months after the murder of his daughter.

Lekaj openly admits he stabbed the girl eight times.

I started with my first shot. I was sitting in the front seat of the driver. I kept hitting her with a knife... she was kicking her ass, hitting the door and the window. Then I went into the back seat of the car and I did the rest. I just kept hitting the knife... she was kicking, kicking the door and the window. “After she couldn't move, I stabbed myself, why I stabbed her, why did I do that thing. ”

The attack was taking place on her car near their home, Kidman Park, on the outskirts of Adelaide, in July last year.
