This is after the day the North Macedonia NATO accession Protocol was voted in, Kosovo's ambassador to northern Macedonia, Gjergj Dedaj, has congratulated the event by posting a photo of DUI deputies.
This post has sparked numerous reactions from other Albanian parties. Some of them have sought answers from Kosovo's MPJ, even the Deday dismissal from the ambassador's position in the RMV.
The alternative spokesman has expressed his party's concern over such actions by Ambassador Deday.
“This is the issue that all Albanians in our country should be approved for, while we are convinced that the ambassador knows very well that NATO integration is not a particular party credit, but the contribution of all Albanians to our country, regardless of political and party affiliation” says Orhan Murtezani of Gaza Express.
Even the Belgrade Movement's reaction has been tough towards Kosovo's ambassador. Of this party, spokesman Elmedin Memish says Kosovo's ambassador represents his state, not a political party.
The fact that we have new governments in Kosovo proves true. We hope these changes will soon reflect on Kosovo diplomacy as well. Kosovo's ambassador represents his own state and not any political party there, therefore he must maintain exclusiveness with the entire political spectrum in northern Macedonia, regardless of his personal preferences”, the Besa Movement's response said.
Earlier, the Alliance's deputy leader for Albanians, Elmi Ashir, who has requested the dismissal of the PDK ambassador, as he calls it.
Nothing remains of democracy when openly ambassador The PDK in DUI expresses its sympathy! We remember the ambassador that his job as a diplomat is to work for support of Kosovo's interest in RVM Albanians, not the contrary; support of party interests in which he is appointed ambassador. The status of Kosovo's ambassador to northern Macedonia, Gjergj Dedaj, is considered to be a division among Albanians, and for this reason, this diplomat is “a persona non grata” and the same must be downloaded” writes Elmi Asiti on his Facebook profile.
