5-year-old violated inside American Embassy

The man was arrested Sunday after the child's parents filed a complaint with police, writes BBC, broadcasts Klan Kosova.

The girl, who was attacked on Saturday morning, is in stable condition.

Doctors have confirmed she was raped.

Her family lives at the base of the embassy, where her father works as a member of the house maintenance staff.

Police said the accused, the driver, is not employed by the embassy.

However, he lives with his parents in embassy staff neighborhoods after his father works there.

The American Embassy is located in Chanachayapuri, a clever diplomatic enclave in Delhi, which is home to several embassies and high commissions.
