Ready to return Khahabi to UFC, a meeting is scheduled with Dana White

President UFC's Dana White feels optimistic that I can convince Khahabi to return to a recent fight in the Octagon when the two hold talks.

Khab confirmed the shocking retirement in October, after defeating Justin Gaetthing at UFC 254, Periscopi broadcast.

It was the first war since he lost his father, Abdulmanan, who died at the age of 57 in July from the Coronavirus.

But prior to that, Khab had declared that their plan was to retire with 30 wars on his shoulders.

And with the 32-year-old who's only one victory away from reaching this number, White has expressed optimism that Khahabb will return once more.

He said to BT Sports: ” I think his father wanted him to hit record 30-0, and he wants to achieve this because he knows that his father wanted it.

But we'll see. He and I are meeting next month to talk. He may not want to fight. I don't know the answer to that.

But I'm a little optimistic that I can speak and convince him.” /Periscope. com/
