Based on the Law on Access to Public Documents, GAP has requested information on the expenses of the 2019 political staff hired by the Prime Minister's Office and all ministries.
A total of 17 ministries and the Office of the Prime Minister, from which the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Communities and Kthim, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Labour and Social Goods have provided data on cabinets without personalising officials' spending for months. While, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Diaspora have not provided access to the data, thus contradicting the Law for Access to Public Documents”, says the GAP Institute, Zeri.info.
From the data of these 17 ministries and the Prime Minister's Office, it turns out that during 2019 some 204,541 euros were spent for the hire.
In this regard, the prime minister's office, with over 70 thousand euros, ranks first, then ranks the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning with over 37 thousand euros spent on labour.
Meanwhile, in terms of the expenses of prime minister and ministers/Et 2019, it turns out that Fatmir Matoshi, as minister at the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, leads with regard to the wages taken at 5,446 euros.
While Ekrem Mustafa, minister at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ranks second with 3.922 euros in expenditures.
Interestingly, then Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj is fourth on the list, with 3.266 euros spent.
