Bruno Roger-Pete, senior adviser at Elysee Palace, was with Marion Marechalin, the niece of the famous extreme right politician Marine Le Pen, in a private room in Paris.
Marechal, 31, who had removed Le Penny as an adjective in 2018, was a member of parliament from the far right Front National Front (FN) for five years until 2017, the Guardian writes.
She's the great-vessel of the FN founder Jean-Marie Le Pen, and was the youngest MP of the Republic of France.
This news of the meeting comes at the time when Macro is being accused of flirting with rightist voters with two new laws, one covering <x0) global security”, which gives police even more power, and the second one who attempts to fight “separatism” religious and has promoted protests.
Roger-Pete, former political journalist and television presentation, insisted that he had met Marchalin “on personal matters”.
“Bruno Roger-Pete contacted me through a friend and suggested that we meet. I agreed. Basically, he never refused to talk to people. And furthermore, I was curious to know what someone had to say who would laugh when he treated me like a Nazi every few weeks as a deputy,” said Marechal.
Witnesses said it was Roger-Pete who paid the bill for lunch.
