Periscope:
How is the SHSKUK about oxygen supply after there have been reports that some regional hospitals (Pe, Gjilan etc) have had a lack of oxygen?
Valbon Krasniqi:
USKKUK's oxygen supply is currently stable. She never had a day without a contract. Oxygen costs have been rising inexorably during the pandemic, and not only in Kosovo but throughout the wider region.
Periscope:
How many companies currently have contracts with the University Clinical Hospital Service for oxygen supply, and how much is sufficient?
Valbon Krasniqi:
SHSKUK has valid contracts with two (2) economic operators, who are supplying on a daily basis with oxygen.
Periscope:
How is Kosovo standing around the number of people affected by Avid-19, is the number going towards falling?
Valbon Krasniqi:
Although there is a slight trend last week to reduce the number of infected people, this number of some 300 to 500 cases a day is still high for our country. We seem to be towards a decrease in the number of infected, yet it is difficult to predict further epidemic performance. This depends on observing the precautions of all of us.
Periscope:
How many of you are still expected to be among us, Coddy-19?
Valbon Krasniqi:
Now every prediction about this pandemic is almost unstable. No one can predict how long the pandemic will last, but the discovery of the vaccine and the vaccine of the population as soon as possible can affect the outcome of the pandemic. We should hope so.
Periscope:
O The U.S. has recently indicated a new version of the 19s, where over a thousand new cases have been presented in Britain, is there any chance that the same one will soon arrive in Kosovo?
Valbon Krasniqi:
Any virus transmitted through the airways can spread anywhere, so even new evental variants (or mutations as we call them in medicine) can spread anywhere. This was also seen this year with COVID-19 virus.
Periscope:
What's the point about the vaccine for Ovid 19, in what way will this vaccine come to Kosovo, how much will Kosovo cost?
Valbon Krasniqi:
The Kosovo government is making maximum efforts to ensure as soon as possible our vaccine and expectations are to have it in the first months of next year. However, for detailed information, you can refer to MSH and IKXPK
Periscope:
How many per cent of residents can be vaccinated, and who will take the lead in the vaccine?
Valbon Krasniqi:
I can't talk about a percentage of the population being vaccinated, because that depends on the amount of vakisne that can be secured. Of course, there must be a priority in vaccinating the population, and primarily medical staff, Kosovo Police personnel, then the elderly, chronically ill, and so on.
Periscope:
What are the arrangements for the holiday season?
Valbon Krasniqi:
We need to be careful about the measures for the end of the year, but one thing is certain, there should be strict implementation of measures on the part of both citizens and rigorous monitoring by the respective institutions.
