In February, pop music sensation, Billie Ellish, who had just kidnapped a Grammy Award and performed on the Oscar Awards evening, just published the song that would be the voice column of James Bond's long-awaited film, my “No, my own to die”. Weinstein denied all charges at his address and denied having relations with any female, contrary to her will. Later, in March, Weinstein had a positive result with Avid-19 and moved to serve his sentence at a New York detention centre, to have him under control because of his serious health.

Racism in Hollywood

Social media wore black on June 2nd, after the entire music industry and its stars, including Rihanna, Drake, Katy Perry and dozens of others, demonstrated their support for “Baclut Tjeday”. The leading music agencies, which were joined by hundreds of other companies, pledged to interrupt their businesses and co-operate with communities to fight racial inequality, following protests erupted throughout the United States, following George Floyd's death, during police arrest 25 May.

Meghan, Susexx Duchess told of the events that followed Floyd's death, stressing that she herself is concerned about the fact that her children will grow up in a world where racism still exists and strikes hard as violent protests in the United States and further, described them as devastating. Meghan spoke through a recorded video of graduating students at her old school in Los Angeles, which was broadcast on television on June 3rd.

More than 300 film actors and producers, including Idris Elba, Queen Latifah and Billy Porter, asked Hollywood to invest in films and products, which make up the message of antiracism. In an open letter, addressing Hollywood “Aleates”, they attacked what they name “the heritage of white primacy” in this industry, and also say Hollywood has encouraged over the years, the epidemic of police violence and a culture entirely against colored people. The letter, written by a group of Hollywood actors and artists, grouped later in what was called “Hollywood 4 Black Lives” condemned cultural and political racism in the US, a type of systematic racism over the years and called for mass protests against the murder of colored people. The word “Dixie” was dedicated to the southern states of America, where slavery was legal and then separated, fought as the Confederate of the American States during the Civil War.

The body running the Oscar Awards Academy on September 8th published details about the inclusion and diversity that producer directors will have to meet as criteria so that their work may be worthy to compete for an Oscar award starting in 2024. The following day, the American rapper posted a series of talks on social networks, complaining that even his wife, the star of <x0-reality show”, Kim Kardashian, had tried several times to close her husband at medical treatment centres, comparing himself with Nelson Mandela while suggesting that the film “Get O” was based on his real life. All the fury caused in social networks, on charges of his family, but what social media today can do is make a man's life, came just a day after West officially announced the US presidential candidacy in Charleston, South Carolina.

TV show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, through which Kim and her family became famous but also wealthy since 2007, will end in 2021.
