Arben Fetah has been re-elected chairman of the Kosovo Basketball Federation (FBK). Fetah has been elected president of FBK in 2018, following Errolld Belegun, and continuing his term for the next four years.
So it was placed in the FBK Election Rule Framework. Of the 29 delegates, when they were all present, and no vote against, and no abstention, Fetah will continue working at the top of Kosovo basketball. It has been part of the FBK since 2013.
29 delegates attended this country until the FBK Secretary General was missing, Elvira Dushku due to the Devi-19 infection.
Before the start of the vote, Fetah, as the only candidate, has been addressed to delegates, talking about the job -- two and a half years -- as Chairman of the FBK, but also the Programme for the next four years.
Fetah stated that various projects, both new generations and women, have been carried out until an undisputed success remains the formation of the Unic League.
“We have formed new Kosovo representatives by participating in international competitions, we have organised two European Championships in Pristina, and we have two positions in the FIBA official bodies. The path to success has not been easy”, he said.
We've had a lot of difficulties, but we've got a lot of sponsors. Working with the younger generations, women, clubs and Kosovo basketball associations will continue in the future”, stressed Fetah.
Messages were also addressed through a video Andreas Zagkles, FIBA Secretary General. He has welcomed holding the Electoral Assembly, confirming FIBA support. He added that this year has not been easy for any country, however, many basketball contests have been held.
Zagclis She commended Fethah and Dushk for the work they did in this time of pandemic, being an example to many other federations. “FIBA is very pleased with the work of FBK. FIBA will stay close to you in Kosovo basketball development”.
The two FBK vice-presidents were then elected: Linda Shala and Artan Kurt.
Seven board members have also been elected: Teuta Abdullah, Arben Bislimi, Nundman Përtesh
