In just 100 days, the state receives over threem euros in fines from citizens who respected anti-sequent measures - CO VID

According to data Kosovo Police have made known to them about TIME, from the entry into force of this law, on 26 August to the present December 13th, some 95 thousand fines have been imposed. The smallest fine to be presented with this law is 35 euros for failing to wear a mask or respect a distance. This is also considered a mostly pronounced fine. The law also stresses that the physical person who does not respect the decision to restrict circulation is sentenced to 200 euros in fines, while the legal one is 500.
Police have not provided detailed data on each prescribed fine, but in a simple estimate with the 35 euro minimum fine turns out the state has declared 3.3m euros in fines at minimum.
According to police data, for August 26th, December 3rd, an average of 890 fines a day have been pronounced.
Despite these fines, in many cases mass violations have been reported. The last case occurred on Saturday in Brezovica, where many young people gathered without respect for the measures were seen. For this case, police said briefly that “have interviewed and distributed crowds”, not knowing how many fines they have pronounced. A total of 723 fines have been imposed at the country level, said in the 24-hour report for Saturday.
