Pride and War Pain, Vasfije Krasniqi brings video of the first-hour KLA soldier from Drenica

Hamide Xhemajli-Ferizi, of Drenica, had only been 19 years old when he joined the Army. Liberation of Kosovo, in 1996, when few knew the country's defence war was being organised.

In this video, which is the “platform project LIRIA KAMA”, former KLA soldier Hamide Xhemajli-Ferizi, tells of the time she proudly joined her brother in the war, saying this was love of her homeland.

Hamid remembers with pain the heavy moments during the war when she lost a fellow warrior in her hands, her friend Nana Sala, and the Delijaj massacre in Abri.
