The politician in Peru gets punched at the media conference (Video)

A conventioner in Peru has received a surprise coup during a news conference after Congress voted for the president's dismissal, Martin Viscarra.

Congresswoman Ricardo Burga is one of those who voted for the president's investigation and was punched by a passerby while speaking to reporters.

The president's dismissal has pushed Peru into a political crisis as it continues to revive the economy that has been hit hard by the coronary pandemic.

On Tuesday, the first of Peru's Congress, Manuel Merino, was sworn in as president of the state and has promised that the elections will be organised in April.

President Vizcarra was dismissed on corruption charges.
