PDK in Prizren criticises 30,000-euro tender for New Year's decoration of city

“The PDK branch in Prizren considers it not only unnecessary but also provocative in this pandemic isolation situation. On one side, when new measures and closures are already being discussed each day by infection, Prizren's degraded governance plans city decorations, which in fact is the next testimony to mismanagement of citizens' money. At a time when more and more reports are reported of increased cases of infected and dead, while many families are in serious economic condition because of the situation created, and when many weddings and joys have not been held or postponed, the question is who will think of any atmosphere in the city, much more so much to spend such a high budget on the decoration”, says the PDK response. “Instead of thinking about coping with the situation, which is becoming worse in Prizren's municipality, Vetevendosje government, does not think of priorities that the situation produces, but only thinks of how to spend the money”, the report says.

The PDK has requested that New Year's decoration tools be used to help families with social assistance and to provide technological equipment for students and students, who have no conditions to follow quality lessons.
