The mother of ten children dies 11 days after bringing her first daughter to life

Less than two weeks after her first daughter was born, the mother of ten Texas children passed away.

Sonya Harlow has been praying for years to have a daughter, her husband Spencer told Bluebone News. Her prayers answered on November 5th, when she gave birth to a girl whom she called Eliana, which means the Lord “answered”. Just 11 days later, she lost her battle for her life.

I don't know how I'm gonna live without her,” said her best friend Nancy Leger Dave, who launched a charity event for the Harlow family in GoFundM.

Sonya (39) had complications during pregnancy, which made it impossible to work.

She didn't work for months before she was born, so her husband cared for all ten children financially,” added Nancy.

She only had boys at home and prayed for the girl. We called him Eliana, that's God's response to our prayers”, Spencer added.

Everything was ideal until last Monday, when Spencer woke up from his wife's complaints.

I went back and saw him die. While her death was sudden, there was no security of life or savings. All money will be spent on burial, and if anything is left, it will pass on to children”, said a friend of the late Sonya.
