Chairman PSD, Dardan Moliqaj, reports that four activists of this party have been fined 200 euros for activities they have held at the prime ministerial building regarding the inequities of the ruling economic package.
He writes:
Political punishment on behalf of pandemic law
Today, by chance we learned that four PSD activists have been sentenced to 200 euros in fines for the protest activity we have held at the prime minister's building where we showed the government's economic package inequalities. No official announcement has been made of this sentence and his reasons.
For less than a month, we have been given fines worth 1600 euros because of the public political shares we have organised as a political party. In all cases, distances and masks have been respected. We haven't caused any risks related to the spread of pandemic.
In the meantime, we are witnessing a fully uneven and discriminated approach of institutions. The LDK and VV, throughout the entire time, are continuing the campaign in Bessiane by organising mass-free meetings and meetings, and are not being punished.
The sentences that have been pronounced to us are completely unjust and as such I will not pay. In the absence of adequate measures, the government has chosen the persecution and police of citizens. This is unacceptable. The right of protest cannot be affected in any way. Any attempt to drown objections through fines will be ineffective.
