The media in Switzerland have reacted to the decision for Fazliji to activate for Kosovo.
Kosovo Selector Bernard Challandes has today announced the list of football players invited for the next three matches in November, while Fazliji was one of the surprises of the list.
Kosovo is starting to challenge Albania on November 11th for a friendly meeting, then for meeting the League of Nations in League C. To begin with Slovenia in Ljubljana on November 15th and three days later at “Fadil Vokri”, against Moldova.
The biggest Swiss newspaper, Blick wrote that Kosovo “stole” a very talented player.
Fazliji plays in Switzerland at St. Gallen.
He was formerly part of Switzerland's U-21 age group, with which he appeared in two matches.
Betim Fazliji is 21-year-old and activated as a defanziev midfielder and can be activated as a protector.
Falziy is born in the Presevo Valley and comes from the village of Tarnoc. The career started in Swiss football.
In June 2019, Fazliji signed his first professional contract while debuting in July 2019 with his St. Gallen club.
This season he has held all matches with the first team (sixth), where he scored another goal.
