We inform you that because of the circumstances created, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, all foreign citizens travelling to Kosovo, if they want more information, follow the following instructions:
States which the Republic of Kosovo currently considers with high risk of infection with COVID-19 are: Germany, Denmark, Cyprus, Slovakia, Spain, France, Italy, Great Britain, Romania, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Hungary, Luxembourg, Iceland, Slovenia, Malta, Poland, Croatia, Lichterstein, Portugal and Bulgaria.
It should be stressed that people who go from these countries to Kosovo should have a negative test that is no longer older than 72 hours or to enter the 7-day vetoulation.
While residents from Switzerland's state no test is needed about Covid-19.
This applies to foreign citizens, as well as to those of Kosovo, who come from these countries. So said in a Kosovo government document published about more endangered states.
Information for foreign citizens about entry into the Republic of Kosovo
All foreign citizens who enter the Republic of Kosovo (RKS), coming from high-stressed countries according to the ECDC's official list (which is updated every two weeks), should testify via the RT-PCR test in Sars COV-2 that they are healthy from COVID-19, on the basis of the reciprocity principle, except the case:
During entry via International Airport “Adem Jashari” do not need proof for the test RT-PCR negative, taking into account that foreign citizens will only pass through the RKS territory, and provided they sign a statement at the entrance that in the course of three hours will release the RKS territory;
As you access the border points, with the aim of exiting the air points, from International Airport “Adem Jashari” and ground points need no proof of test RT-PCR negative, but, foreign citizens are obliged to present the plane ticket and sign the declaration that within 3 hours they will leave the RKS territory;
Professional transporters (positors) do not need to have confirmation of the negative PCR test, provided the protocol is respected for international transport;
For transport organized by bus or regular international transitorline, no test is needed RT-PCR negative, provided the declaration is signed that they will release the RKS territory within five hours;
Foreign citizens who have arranged provisional or permanent residence permit at the RKS, during the RKS entry should present the confirmation of the RT-PCR negative test, made the most distant 72 hours before the RKS entry;
In the event of not presenting the testimony of the negative test, foreign citizens are obliged to self-isolate for 7 days;
Foreign diplomats who are accredited to the RKS as well as their families need not have proof of the test RT- PCR negative;
Foreign citizens who have set the term for treatment at health institutions in the RKS can enter if they present confirmation of a RT-PCR negative test, done more than 72 hours before the RKS entrance, as well as confirmation of a certain term released by the hospital;
Resigners of personal documents issued by the RKS but with residence addresses in another country during the RKS entry must present proof for testing RT-PCR negative, made the most distant 72 hours before entering the RKS.
