Through a Facebook status, Hoxhaj has recalled the 52nd anniversary of the 1968 demonstration, which he said culminated, down to this day, with the KLA war and its declaration of independence.

The 1968 demonstrations are a fundamental event of the efforts of many generations on Albanian rights and freedoms that culminated down to this day, with the KLA war and declaration of independence.
This event as well as other events later, demonstrations of the year 191, long - term peaceful resistance, are the linkes of a war and constant efforts at national liberation.
For the first time in the former Yugoslavia, Albanians with demonstrators demanded that the right to use national symbols is recognized, national rights, not nationality, and then in the 80th years, the right to the republic equal to other republics of the former SFRJ.
This awareness then culminated in the right to the best of our present state.
