Hoti has stated that in yesterday's video conference she has agreed with French President Emmanuel Macron to hold virtual meetings among Kosovo-French technical delegations for visa liberalisation.
The virtual meeting of technical delegations from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and the French Republic will be held on November 26th and 27th 2020, in terms of bilateral co-operation in the area of security and with a focus on issues related to visa liberalisation. Hoti next reports that political meeting between the two countries is expected after this technical meeting.
France is reported to be one of the two countries, along with the Netherlands, which has blocked visa liberalisation for Kosovo.

On 26 November and 27 November 2020, the virtual meeting of technical delegations will be held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and that of the French Republic, in terms of bilateral co-operation in the field of security and with focus on issues related to visa liberalisation.
The engagement of this meeting is the result of agreement between the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. AvdIllah Hoti and President of the Republic of France Mr. Emmanuel Macro, on video conference yesterday.
Political meeting at the level of the two countries' interior ministries is expected very soon after the technical meeting.
