Hoti, invited to Adi Krastta's show, has said that support for the designated persons is already on legal basis, which has been undertaken since the establishment of specialised rooms.
When the Special Court was established, it was established to institutionally provide financial support to the persons accused in these rooms, Hoti stated.
Otherwise, Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has considered that the state of Kosovo should be organised to stand up for former KLA political and military leaders who are being charged by The Hague's Specialised Prosecutor's Office.
Kurti has said that the current government cannot do that.
Kosovo's “State should organise and co-ordinate the defence of the defendants. They saw they had their lawyers each, but they needed state co-ordination. The NLA wasn't anybody's but everyone's and we all have to protect it. In other words, this is government work, this is particularly government work. It is the Kosovo government that should commit to the synthesis of representation and protection in this process. Defence and co-ordination must be co-ordinated and synthesized. Unfortunately, Kosovo does not have a government that can do that”, Kurti has said.
