Granit Jaka: My blood is Albanian, but I'm Swiss

Kosovo football player Granit Jaka in an interview for the Swiss media has spoken about his past, and has said, among other things, there is Albanian blood, however, it is Swiss, Periscopi broadcasts.

After the war, everything took its time. I was allowed to see my parents' place for the first time when I was 12. Since then, we have visited our family every summer. My uncles, cousins and aunts live in Kosovo. From here comes my reference, my parents' place, my blood. Nobody can take it away from me”, Jaka said.

On the other hand, asked what he said to people when asked where he came from, Jaka said he said he has Albanian blood but is Swiss.

I always say that my blood is Albanian, but I'm Swiss. My native country is Switzerland, and it will always be like this. That's a fact. This is where I was born, and here I grew, said Jaka.
