Gent Cakaj: No court in the world can rewrite the glorious history of KLABAR

No court in the world can rewrite the glorious history of the Kosovo Liberation Army and atone for crimes against humanity and the genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo. Point!”, this is how Albania's acting Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj reacted to the acts confirmed by the Special Against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Jakup [...]
Cakaj says Serbia, not Kosovo, should face its criminal past.
Among other things, Cakaj has stressed that “The advice of the leaders of the KLA and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in the past two days is not only dignified on personal and national plains, but also the expression of full readiness to face justice and whiteen the truth. They today once again carry the burden of protecting KLA values and the entire recent history of Kosovo”.
Full Cakat announcement:
No court in the world can rewrite the glorious history of the Kosovo Liberation Army and atone for crimes against humanity and the genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo. Touchdown!
The requirement of true justice is clear:
Serbia, not Kosovo, would have to face its criminal past and hand over war criminals (also dressed in today's politicians' costume) to justice.
Supposed war crimes in Kosovo were investigated by UNMIK, The Hague Tribunal, EULEX, local courts and now, completely unilaterally, even by the Special Court. Kosovo, unlike Serbia, has so far shown all the readiness needed to co-operate with all mechanisms of international justice. Kosovo has nothing to hide: its struggle has been clean and fair.
The behaviour of KLA leaders and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in the past two days is not only dignified on the personal and national plains, but also an expression of full willingness to face justice and whiteen the truth. They today once again carry the burden of protecting KLA values and the entire recent history of Kosovo.
We remain completely convinced of the justice of war and the innocence of Kosovo Liberation Army leaders. Kosovo, as always, will rise even stronger despite challenges!
