Today, all Albanian lands are marked by November 28th, a date that has marked significant historical points for all Albanian people over the years. In addition to the National Flag Festival, November 28th is the birthday of the legendary commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Adem Jashar and the anniversary of the KLA's first public appearance.

And this 23rd anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army public appearance finds the country without its former leaders and saw one of three protagonists of the first public appearance, writes news.net.

Hashim Thaci, former political leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Kadri Veselini, former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army Security Service, Jakup Krasniqi former Kosovo Liberation Army spokeswoman Rexhepi Selimi, former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the two leaders of the War Veterans Organisation and former Kosovo Liberation Army officials, Nasim Haradinaj and Hysni Gucati, and also former KLA fighter Mustafa Sali, are being held in The Hague, where they are being held in custody and facing special justice there.

But their absence has apparently not been observed by the leaders of Kosovo institutions, as in their telegrams of congratulations, their presentations to the media and personal congratulations have never mentioned them at any moment.

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has sent a telegram of congratulations to Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama with whom he decerast has congratulated the day of Albania's declaration of independence, but neither on his own Facebook, he has mentioned the former heads of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are in The Hague.

Prime Minister Hoti has also visited Gjergj Kastriott Skenderbeu and former Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova's September, but in neither of his two Facebook posts are KLA leaders or only the KLA.

He has also visited the Jashar family memorial complex in Prekaz, but Hoti has also remained indifferent to the absence of former KLA leaders.

Neither has the president of Kosovo, who also holds the position of Kosovo's Parliament Speaker, given no time to mention former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders.

It through a telegram of congratulations has congratulated Albania's president, Ilir Meta for Albania's independence, but has not found the moment to mention the absence of former KLA leaders.

And of the key political figures in Kosovo, it was Albin Kurti, who mentioned former KLA commander Rexhep Selimi and other KLA leaders indirectly.

He said during his visit to Prekaz: “Today we were in Prekaz with Albania, without Raja, who on November 28th made the KLA public announcement. The injustice against those who declared the KLA will not weaken us, because we will certainly prevail”.

Call for political unity to defend the historical truth of Kosovo and the Kosovo Liberation Army has also made former commander KLA, Fatmir Limaj.

“Today, more than ever we need unity and unity in our struggle in statehood and our historical truth, which is being shaken by those who have threatened us yesterday as our being, our freedom, and today make efforts to threaten our truth, our history, the foundations of our state, which are built on the letters of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the martyrs of the KLA, the men and women, the disabled, and all the people who were spared nothing to grant freedom to Kosovo.<1HANA said among others.

And a good lesson, Kosovo institutions leaders have been taught today, Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama.

He has said in his wish that this holiday congratulates President Hashim Thaci and his fellow fighters.

I wish to congratulate all Albanians wherever they are, this blessed day of our national flag, the Independence of Albania, and at the same time on the day that is the birth of the legendary commander of the Kosovo Liberation War, I want to wish you an Independence Day and Flag Day, President Hashim Thaci and his fellow fighters who are not in the house today, the prime minister of Albania said.

And more cautious at this point was the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj.

He in his tour of November 28th has indicated that Kosovo's top war leaders -- Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi and Salih Mustafa -- are being held unjustly closed.

This November is heavy for every citizen in Kosovo, Albania, northern Macedonia and wherever they are found in the world. This 108-year-old found us without key leaders of the war for Kosovo freedom. Without President Hashim Thaci, Chairman Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimin, Jakup Krasniqi and Sali Mustafen. On this November 28th, they are being accused and held unjustly, because their war, the KLA war, was pure and nothing and no one can stain it. This event has hurt every Albanian and therefore I invite everyone to grieve to turn the force and hurt into a will to make Kosovo stronger and the PDK stronger and more stable and developed!”, said Hoxhaj's wish.

To former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders, the Special Court has prepared a string of charges all mentioned are declared innocent, while the defence has stated they are ridiculous and outside of jurisdiction and legal promises upon which the Specialised Chambers and the Special Prosecutor's Office are established.

On November 28th, there is still time to complete, and perhaps institutional leaders will take time to remember that on the 23rd anniversary of the public appearance, former KLA leaders are far from home to their freedom and existence today in The Hague.
